Dear All,
To know the power of peace of Mind first we should know what it means. It is a state of inner calmness and harmony, together with a common sense of self-determination, when feelings and fears finish, and there is no stress, strain or fear. Somewhat it is difficult to attain such position but we can experience while being busy in some kind of entertainment activity, such as while watching an interesting movie, while reading a book etc.
Instead of getting anxious and fearful, instead of thinking negative thoughts and expecting the worse, instead of getting tense, unsatisfied and unhappy, you can choose to stay emotionally and mentally poised and unshaken. You can experience inner peace and happiness, as well as inner strength and confidence.
There are various benefits to maintain peace, some are listed below:
1. It improves the ability to think.
2. It improves the ability to handle the daily interaction of life powerfully.
3. It strengthen you inner power.
4. Inner peace develops patience, tolerance and tact.
5. It enables you not to be affected by what people think or say about you.
6. It helps to remove stress, strain and fears.
7. It makes you feel comfortable and free.
8. Peace of mind brings inner happiness and bliss.
9. It increases self discipline.
10. It helps to remove negativity and restless view.
11. It helps to have a good sleep.
12. It improves the skill to meditate.
13. It is the entrance and necessity for illumination and spiritual beginning.
First you should know how to maintain peace in our daily life; we would like to advice some which are as follows:
1. Stay away from negative talk and from negative people.
2. Don't keep any bitterness for anyone. Learn to forget and forgive.
3. Don't be jealous of others.
4. Keep strong self-respect and don’t consider yourself inferior to others.
5. Every day we face many problems, frustrations and situations that are not in our control. And by considering it’s become so tough to change so we must learn to put up with such things and accept them happily.
6. Learn to be more patient and tolerant with people and events.
7. Don't take everything too personally. Some emotional and mental detachment is desirable. Try to view your life and other people with a little detachment and less involvement. Detachment is not indifference, lack of interest or coldness. It is the ability to think and judge impartially and logically. Don't worry if again and again you fail to manifest detachment. Just keep trying.
8. Stop thinking about the past and think on the present. There is no need to bring to mind unlikable memories.
9. Practice some meditation exercises. This will help you to refuse unlikable thoughts and tensions.
By means of creating peace in our inner parts, we bring it into the external parts.
