Planning a wedding can be fun, stressful, but fun at the same time and one of the more interesting aspects is organizing the wedding favors. Don't worry if you can't think of anything as there is a whole industry set up supplying treats for guests. This is important because it can take a great deal of stress when you realize the big event is rapidly approaching and these haven't been organized.
One option for an easy wedding favor, especially popular with the ladies is flowers. The preparation for flowers is almost non existent other than deciding on what flowers to use which can be ordered reasonably close to the big day.
You might consider giving your guests a single red rose as a favor and this is extremely appropriate because a rose is a symbol of love plus roses do not need to be wrapped. You can simply purchase one for each guest and have a member of the catering staff, a friend or family member place one rose across each place setting after the tables have been set for the wedding reception.
Candy can be an easy wedding favor to arrange and there are a number of ways to give it such as presenting each guest with a small tin or basket filled with candy. However, there is an even easier way to give candy and also help you to save money on centerpieces. All you require to make this successful is to use a large glass bowl and fill it with all your favorite candy for the guests to enjoy.
Each wedding guest can then have a small bag or box to place their favorite candy in to eat when they like. All you have to do is let each guest have the option to take whatever candy they like and you won't have anything more to do.
An alternative to using candy is a picture frame which can double up as a place holder just for the occasion. Often when receptions have large guest lists, wrapping wedding favors can seem like a nightmare so needs to be avoided if possible. However, by using the picture frames to hold the place cards, you do not have to worry about wrapping them for your guests.
For those of you that like an easy wedding favor that is a little different then why not use a local photographer, you can have each guest pose for a shot which can be presented to them at the wedding reception. All the photographer needs to do is to have a printer with him so he can give each guest their photo before they leave later in the day. This is a great idea for a wedding favor because your guests will likely be dressed up and will appreciate the opportunity to pose for a professional photo. As a little extra you could ask the photographer if he could bring along a small projector and have a slide show during the reception when guest can see the photos he has taken.
